High Temperature Pressure and Temperature Transmitter
Type: HTHP
The High Temperature Transmitter is used for measuring Pressure and Temperature in the field of oil- and gas exploration and in geothermal applications.
The High Temperature- Transmitter Type HTHP is designed for applications in oil and gas exploration and exploitation as well as in geothermal applications to work at elevated temperatures up to 200°C (400°F). It contains a high temperature piezoresistive pressure sensor cell and analog power supply and amplifiers also with high temperature components mounted in high temperature technologies. The consequent use of suited components and technologies makes them applicable for continuous monitoring. The customer gets output signals for pressure and temperature in the range of 1…4V. This output signals can be transferred over longer distances with lower influence of noise than in „only sensor cell“ applications. Compensation of pressure and temperature errors is thought to be done on wellhead or in office. This means outside the elevated temperature. Therefore the polynomial coefficients can be delivered by supplier or estimated by customers theirself. Finally with digital compensation accuracy is limited by stability only. Stability errors are estimated to be smaller than +-0.3%FS using the full temperature and pressure range. |  |
Versions will be available in the beginning for pressure ranges up to 100….1000bar (1.5 … 15kpsi). Of course a use for lower pressure ranges with enhanced error limits is possible too.
As usual in such applications customer specific versions of housing will be available.
Housings are fully welded designs consisting out of Alloy 625, 17-4PH or 316L.
Power supply and signal outputs are shielded with hermetically sealed pressure bulk heads (glass feed thrus).
